For sale is a promotional/merchandise HOME & AWAY mug made in 1989 by Coloroll of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Also included is a free 'Home and Away Summer Bay' button badge dating to the 1990s. Summer Bay is the fictional coastal town featured in the Australian soap opera, Home and Away, located in rural coastal New South Wales. The real name for the bay is Palm Beach.

Home & Away is a TV soap-opera and was originally broadcast in Australia from January 1988 and then first broadcast in Britain from February 1989. The Home & Away series are still shown on TV worldwide.

Size: about 3 1/2" high x 3 1/8” O.D. excluding the handle (89mm x 79mm).
Size (button badge): 1 1/2" (38mm) diameter.
Material(s): white earthenware.
Finish: screen printed in 3 colours over a black ground glaze.
Imprint (mug only): ®TM Australian Television Network 1989. COLOROLL ENGLAND
Approximate age: mug dated 1989. Badge c.1989 to c.1995.

CONDITION:
Mug in excellent clean unused condition. No damage. Badge in very good condition with only light markings on the reverse side tin wash.
