One Pound banknotes issued by the Isle of Man Government. The Isle of Man is a self-governing British Crown dependency that issues its own currency, known as the Manx pound.
Banknote Features
Obverse (Front): Features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II at the right and the triskelion (the three-legged symbol of the Isle of Man) at the center. It also includes a map of the Isle of Man and the lettering "ISLE OF MAN GOVERNMENT".
Reverse (Back): Typically depicts Tynwald Hill, the site of the island's ancient outdoor parliament.
Currency Status: The Manx pound is equal in value to the British pound sterling and is used on the island alongside UK currency. While £1 notes are no longer issued in England, Northern Ireland, and Wales, they remain in circulation in the Isle of Man.
