"Short Scale. Big Tone. Legendary Looks.
The 2005 SG Standard has the legendary looks, sound and feel of the original EB-3 model introduced in 1961, one of Gibson's most iconic basses. The short scale length is actually a big part of this sound! While its scale is often preferred by smaller players, it's also preferred by many for the strong fundamental tone for which this bass is known. As expected, the solid mahogany body has deeply sculpted scarfing and the rounded profile mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard feels familiar and comfortable. It's pair of calibrated and uniquely voiced pickups produce a legendary vintage growl. The midrange is well-pronounced, while the highs are funky and fresh. While its individual volume and master tone controls add further tonal possibilities."

Condition : Overall good used, some light finish wear, a few small nicks and some finish swirling and buckle rash. Some marks on the back where it's been leaning against a stand. Minimal fretwear, comes complete with its original hard case.
