Description:
Did you know that Malta tops the list of the most gay-friendly countries in Europe? It is, therefore, no surprise that this beautiful island was chosen to host this year’s edition of EuroPride!
To mark this occassion, the Royal Dutch Mint will strike a special commemorative coin, commissioned by the Central Bank of Malta.
The Malta 2 ½ Euro 2023 “EuroPride Malta” coin will be available in coincards.

EuroPride 2023 will run between 7 and 17 September 2023.
During these days, people from the LGBTI+ community from all around the world will get together to celebrate.
The will be a programme including several parties with performances by famous artists, educational events, like an Open Mic Night for poetry or music sharing, and a conference about inclusivity and diversity.
On 16 September, the night before the last EuroPride day, a performance will be held by Christina Aguilera during the official EuroPride Valletta 2023 Concert.

Malta 2 ½ Euro in coincard
Malta 2 ½ Euro 2023 “EuroPride Malta” in coincard has a bright design featuring a rainbow, the well-known symbol of the LGBTI+ community.
