This was stored in a shed for years, and has been sympathetically restored to a respectable condition.
- Most metal hardware shows some corrosion.
-Some paint marks are on the chair, which are hard to picture and hard to see in person. Red paint mainly limited to the end of one back leg, with tiny splatter dotted randomly. I decided that removing this paint would not be worth the potential damage to the original patina. They are very subtle.
-The wicker is in good condition.
-Everything hinges and locks as it should, it is mechanically sound.
-One break, pictured was previously badly repaired and subsequently cleaned up as much as possible.
-The entire piece was sympathetically restored, consisting of a general clean-up to remove grime and dust as well as a re-repair of the pictured break. The entire piece was given a very light coat of teak oil to protect and enliven the wood again.
