Vintage Sadler England Art Deco Real Gold Gilt Tea and Coffee Pot Set

Beautiful vintage Sadler England tea and coffee pot set in a stunning real gold gilt spiral design, dating likely from the late 1930s to 1950s.

A wonderfully sculptural pair with strong Art Deco and Hollywood Regency styling. Finished in warm ivory/cream ceramic with rich reflective real gold gilding throughout. These pieces have a truly glamorous vintage look and display beautifully.
Originally designed as a tea and coffee service and still fully functional for serving tea or coffee, but would also make an incredible and unusual way to serve cocktails, espresso martinis or after-dinner drinks. Equally stunning simply used as decorative statement pieces for shelving, a drinks trolley or coffee station.

Both pieces retain their original Sadler England backstamps.

Condition is exceptional for their age. The gilt is beautifully preserved with virtually no wear or rubbing, which is increasingly rare for vintage gilded tea ware. There is some very light age-related crazing to the pale ceramic sections, entirely consistent with age and vintage English pottery, but no cracks or chips noted.
