Vintage Mid-Century Vallauris Style Ceramic Bowl Plate 29cm Abstract Studio Pottery

Beautiful vintage mid-century ceramic bowl/plate dating from approximately the 1950s–1970s, in the highly sought-after Vallauris style.

A striking abstract design with bold colour blocking in deep blue, terracotta, cream and coral tones, finished with expressive hand-painted detailing and a rich glossy glaze.

Features a softly scalloped, organic edge which gives it a lovely sculptural quality. Very much in the style of Thomas Buxó, though not signed.

Measures approximately 29cm in diameter.

Excellent vintage condition; no chips or cracks. Glaze is beautifully preserved.

A real statement piece, perfect as a fruit bowl, centrepiece or decorative display.
