Heroine explores an idea of individuality; of oneself and fragrance used as armour, weapon, comfort and sensual vanquish. A perfume of feminine strength and self-awareness underpinned by soft blooms and lavish sweet citrus and dewberry. A wash of violet through the fruit punch opening suggests 1960’s cocktails and the orange has been blended with chic styling, hints of vitamin C effervescence and freshly squeezed juice.

As the delicious orange dazzles, jasmine, rose, powdery heliotrope and the amandine fluff of yellow mimosa come together in the heart of Heroine forming a plateau of flowers lit by orange from above. The dissolve into sugared orris and vanillic musks is wonderfully articulated, any overt sweetness counterpointed by tonka and rooty green vetiver. As Heroine settles, there are subtle hints of lychee, kiwi and green mango, a flashback to the cocktail vibe, this time with a simmering vanilla that smells at once of rum and cake mix.
