Stylish French Lancel Leather Briefcase Women's Bag

This Lancel Paris leather briefcase is a beautifully preserved example of classic French craftsmanship. The tan calfskin has developed a rich, elegant patina, and the structured design combines smooth leather with a subtly textured lower panel that gives the piece real character. The front flap closes with Lancel’s signature metal clasp, engraved with the Paris branding. There are light scratches on the clasp from normal use, but they don’t affect function and are only visible on close inspection. The reinforced top handle sits securely on brass rings, also engraved with the Lancel name, adding a refined touch. Inside, the lining features Lancel’s iconic monogram pattern in warm beige and brown, with gold‑tone hardware and the heritage leather patch stamped Lancel Paris 1876. The interior is clean, crisp and ideal for daily organisation. The briefcase measures approximately 40 cm wide, 29 cm high and 9 cm deep. It does not include a shoulder strap, as this model was primarily designed as a hand‑carried professional case.
Bought a few years ago for €460. Sell for €130.
