@Jbug33 - Hi, I understand what you are looking for. Issue / barrier here is that the vinyl covered weights are much thicker than the cast iron plates. The thickness of the viynl plates significantly reduces the amount of weight that you can put on the dumbell bar. I would suggest that for you and your needs that you go with cast iron plates and solid dumbell bar or pair of dumbell bars.

Id be interested in them but just wondering if one could hold the whole weight if that makes sense or are they both 12.5kg a pair.

@Jbug33 - I've not ever tested the weight capacity of a hollow dumbbell. Having said that I would think that a user would be fine up to a max of 20 - 25KG weight plates on a dumbell bar.
