Van Morrison Veedon Fleece Original 1974 LP A1/B1

A very attractive original 1974 UK pressing of Van Morrison’s classic Veedon Fleece, released on Warner Bros. Records with the distinctive Burbank/palm-tree labels.

This copy has the desirable A1/B1 matrices and is a particularly nice example, with very sharp, clean labels and strong glossy vinyl.

Vinyl – VG+

The vinyl retains a strong original gloss with only light surface marks/hairlines consistent with normal handling and use.

Both sides have been fully play tested and play very well throughout. A really enjoyable listen with no skips, sticking or significant clicks. There is some minor background crackle at the beginning of each side during quieter moments, but this does not detract from the overall listening experience.

Labels – Excellent appearance

The original Warner Bros. Burbank/palm-tree labels are particularly clean, sharp and well preserved, with strong colours and clear print. They present extremely well for a record of this age. Please see the close-up photographs.

Sleeve – VG+

The original sleeve presents very well for its age, with some light edge/corner wear, minor ageing and general storage wear. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the condition description.

The original Warner Bros. inner sleeve is included and shows age-related spotting/foxing.

Overall, a very attractive collector’s copy of Veedon Fleece, combining the desirable K56068 A1/B1 first UK pressing matrices, exceptionally clean labels and a strong VG+ play-tested record.
