Here is a collection that it would be very difficult for a single person to put together. Some of the recordings never made it to Europe. The selection was made in the archives of such well-known companies as Columbia, Decca, Victor Capitol, with such excellent brands as Brunswick, OKeh, Vocallion, Bluebird and Perfect. Many of these recordings have been out of print for years. Others were only released on 78 records and never appeared again. Some copies are rare recordings from American radio broadcasts ... including Frank Sinatra's soulful farewell for the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra with the impressive "The Sond is You". In many cases, the panel considered different versions of the same song before selecting a particular recording for the collection. That's why every selected track is a classic recording,
