DMM (Direct to Metal Mastering) first time on vinyl. Limited to 5000 numbered copies, (474/5000) pressed on 200g vinyl and presented in a lavish high gloss sleeve itself housed in a special purple PVC slip wallet. Includes original hype sticker.

Comes with black - partly printed - innersleeves.
Track D2 ends in a locked groove.

Von (Hope) is the debut studio album by Sigur Rós, released on 14 June 1997 by Smekkleysa Records. Production lasted over two years, and the end result sounded significantly different from the original recordings. In exchange for recording time, Sigur Rós painted the studio they recorded in.

Von was originally released in Iceland to positive reviews from critics, but went relatively unnoticed abroad. In the first year following its release, Von sold only 313 copies in Iceland.

The sixth track consists of 18 seconds of silence, and gave name to Sigur Rós's official website, 'eighteen seconds before sunrise'.

Postage is available on limited conditions:

P&P for LPs Registered will be approximately €13 (Depending on weight). Boxsets or multiple items may be more.

P&P at buyers risk is €6, this is a An Post pre-paid padded envelope. Records will be wrapped in cardboard, etc and sent via normal post. Any loss or damage is completely at buyers risk.

Registered post for CD’s in cases is approximately €8.
P&P (at buyers risk) for a CD is approximately €4.50, or €2:00 without case/tray. Additional CDs may increase cost.
