Music For Brass The Fairey Band 7 inch EP Paxton

A lovely classic from Paxton’s Music For Brass series, featuring The Fairey Band, one of Britain’s most famous and successful brass bands, conducted by the legendary Harry Mortimer OBE. The Fairey Band (closely linked with Fairey Aviation in Manchester) were multiple-time British Open and National Championship winners, making their Paxton releases especially sought after by brass collectors.

This EP mixes lively continental favourites with light classical brass showpieces, all delivered with that polished mid-century British brass sound.
