Rare original 1986 UK Def Jam promotional 12-inch featuring two of the label’s most important early artists — LL Cool J and the Beastie Boys.

This is not the standard commercial release. It is the scarce Def Jam XPR 1317 white-label promotional pressing, with the original promotional sleeve and the original sticker stating:

“This is one of only 500”

Condition

The vinyl remains very glossy with some visible light surface/hairline marks from storage and handling. I have not represented it as mint/NM.

The original sleeve is present but has age-related wear, creasing and edge damage, as shown in the photographs. The original promotional sticker remains intact.

A particularly interesting piece for collectors of early Def Jam, Beastie Boys, LL Cool J and 1980s hip-hop history.
