Crippled Black Phoenix are an English dark rock band, founded by Justin Greaves in 2004. Several musicians have contributed to Crippled Black Phoenix's albums and played with them during their live shows.

This is a loving tribute to what is probably their favorite Pink Floyd song, Oh'Ech-oes by Crippled Black Phoenix and Se Delan (which is Justin Greaves other group) is a pretty decent try to make that iconic song their own.
Constantly interspersed with a dialogue with dramatic riffs and the songwriting beats you'd expect CBP to hit an even more nostalgic feel than the original song already had.
The singing is fittingly theatrical, and they do mostly firmly stick to the original material. They do find ways of making it their own, though, especially in some of the crescendos they added to the song, which are just gorgeous, some amazingly emotional solos and, just, everything that Belinda Kordic does on here. It makes it feel like a natural extension of the CBP-universe.

It's the kind of cover that doesn't just sit there in awe of the original material, but one that wants to think it further and make it its own.
