The recordings released in 1997 on Purple Pyramid as a double CD (entitled "First Encounter Tour") have been reworked and reselected in collaboration with the musicians.

Foundational Krautrock group Cluster, in the form of its core duo Hans-Joachim Roedelius and Dieter Moebius, embarked on a US tour in 1996 before falling into what would be a decade-long hiatus.

“USA Live” finds Cluster in a far less peaceful frame of mind over the hourlong course of the album, nine untitled improvisations reflect a feeling of chaos and unrest. Trademark synth tones often meet with squalls of noise and unlikely rhythmic blurts. A particularly uneasy eight-minute improvisation from a New York show stutters along with bell tones and angry interruptions of random percussion. "USA Live 7," recorded in Phoenix, Arizona, is centered around tribal percussion, with synths struggling to rise above the drums. In total, USA Live presents a dark, gloomy side of Cluster. The chaotic, sometimes ornery moods of the album serve to highlight how diverse Cluster really are.

All Items are from a personal collection, stored upright and in excellent conditions. All items, vinyls & sleeves are cleaned, visually inspected and LPs / records / CDs are played (partially or completely) prior to been giving ratings & comments, before LPs/CDs listed.

LP’s come with plastic sleeve cover.

Postage is available on limited conditions:

P&P at buyers risk is €6, this is a A Post pre-paid padded envelope. Records will be wrapped in cardboard, etc and sent via normal post. Any loss or damage is completely at buyers risk.

P&P for LPs Registered will be approximately €13 (Depending on weight).

Boxsets or multiple items may be more.

CD’s can be sold separately.
Registered post for CD’s in cases is approximately €10.00
P&P (at buyers risk) for a CD is approximately €4.95, or €3 without case/tray. Additional CDs may increase cost and the above A Post prepaid padded envelope may be a better option.
