"Bootleg-like" release, issued by Blast First subsidiary label Not in an estimated run of 2000 copies. This version has a machine-numbered textured sleeve and includes a glossy A4-sized 8-page booklet containing photographs and an essay by Steve Albini. An estimated 500 unnumbered, unauthorized copies were also issued with glossy sleeves. There is also an un-numbered Big Black - Sound Of Impact without the booklet.

Side A recorded live in "Muncie Indiana", side B live in "MPLS & Clogland", both in 1986.

The spoof track titles listed on the booklet are all either in-jokes relating to, or quotations from, the songs:

Sound of Impact is a live album by the post-hardcore band Big Black. It was released in limited edition in 1987. The band did not include its name anywhere on the album.

All Items are from a personal collection, stored upright and in excellent conditions. All vinyls & sleeves are cleaned, visually inspected and LPs / records / played (partially or completely) prior to been giving ratings & comments, before LPs/CDs listed.

LP’s come with plastic sleeve cover.

Postage is available on limited conditions:

P&P for LPs Registered will be approximately €13 (Depending on weight). Boxsets or multiple items may be more.

P&P at buyers risk is €6, this is a An Post pre-paid padded envelope. Records will be wrapped in cardboard, etc and sent via normal post. Any loss or damage is completely at buyers risk.

CD’s can be sold separately.
Registered post for CD’s in cases is approximately €8.
P&P (at buyers risk) for a CD is approximately €4.50, or €2:00 without case/tray. Additional CDs may increase cost.
