Alfie were an English indie rock band, formed in 1998 in Manchester. The band were composed of singer Lee Gorton, guitarist-vocalist Ian Smith, drummer Sean Kelly, bassist Sam Morris and cellist-guitarist Matt McGeever.

From Twisted Nerve, the perfectly-formed Manchester label that brought us Badly Drawn Boy, comes A Word in Your Ear, the 2nd album from acoustic troubadours Alfie: a snug, cosy 10 tracks of fluffy folksy ramble that wouldn't say boo to the proverbial goose, but somehow, manages to blow all your preconceptions about winsome indie-pop out of the window.

Items held in good faith for 48 Hours but exchange to be arranged in that time. After 48 Hours, items will only be held with a 50% deposit is paid.

All Items are from a personal collection, stored upright and in excellent conditions. All vinyls & sleeves are cleaned, visually inspected and LPs / records / played (partially or completely) prior to been giving ratings & comments, before LPs/CDs listed.

LP’s come with plastic sleeve cover.

Postage is available on limited conditions:

P&P for LPs Registered will be approximately €13 (Depending on weight). Boxsets or multiple items may be more.

P&P at buyers risk is €6, this is a An Post pre-paid padded envelope. Records will be wrapped in cardboard, etc and sent via normal post. Any loss or damage is completely at buyers risk.

Registered post for CD’s in cases is approximately €8.
P&P (at buyers risk) for a CD is approximately €4.50, or €2:00 without case/tray. Additional CDs may increase cost.
