Vintage World War I - era military trench watch - 1916 -1918
Vintage World War I-era military "trench watch" featuring a black enamel dial and fixed wire lugs WORKING.
Case and Lugs: A silver-toned metal case with soldered wire loops (wire lugs) designed to hold a pass-through leather strap.
Dial: A black face with bold numerals and a smaller sub-seconds dial positioned at the 6 o'clock mark.
Crown: A prominent, easy-grip winding crown (often called an onion crown) on the side of the case
CONDITION : Excellent Vintage Condition : Working and keeping time, Can be stiff to wind so could probably do with a service.
The strap is in very good condition and looks like it is original to the watch.
