Vintage Ruhla Chronograph

Vintage Ruhla Chronograph Vintage Ruhla Chronograph Vintage

For sale is a striking vintage Ruhla chronograph, a rare and characterful piece from the golden era of tool watches. With its bold diver-style bezel, telemeter scale, and classic brushed silver dial, this watch has serious mid-century sports watch presence.

Key features:

Original Ruhla Chronograph dial

Antimagnetic

Telemeter scale (up to 1 km)

Rotating dive-style bezel

Stainless steel case and caseback

Screw-down style caseback with engraved motif

Sub-seconds at 6 o’clock

Bright orange chronograph seconds hand

Fitted on a stainless steel mesh bracelet

Condition:
This watch is in honest vintage condition, showing visible wear consistent with age and use. The case and bezel display notable patina and surface wear, which adds to its authentic tool-watch character. The dial has aged beautifully with a warm champagne tone and remains very legible. Please review photos carefully, as they form part of the description.

Movement:
Mechanical chronograph movement (manual wind).
The watch runs, but as with all vintage pieces, a service is recommended for optimal performance.

Why it’s special:
Ruhla chronographs are far less common than their Swiss contemporaries, making this an appealing piece for collectors who appreciate Cold War–era Eastern European watchmaking. It has a rugged, purposeful aesthetic that wears incredibly well on the wrist.

A fantastic addition to any vintage tool watch collection.
