Vintage Excalibur Automatic Tropical Dial

For sale is a vintage Excalibur automatic watch with a striking blue dial that has developed heavy, even patina over time. This is very much a love-it-or-leave-it piece — the dial ageing gives it a unique, almost tropical character, but it definitely won’t be for everyone.

Case: 36mm full stainless steel case

Movement: FHF 90-5. Automatic, 25 jewels, Incabloc

Functionality: Running immaculately and keeping strong time

Date: Date changes correctly at midnight, however the quick-date set is not working (date must be advanced via the hands)

Dial: Original dial with pronounced patina / spotting throughout

Crystal: New Acrylic Installed

Strap: Fitted with a brown leather strap (shown in photos)

The case presents well with honest wear consistent with age. Crown winds and sets smoothly aside from the quickset date issue noted above.
