Vintage Edox Delfin

A lovely vintage Edox Delfin Automatic with a fantastic blue sunburst dial and plenty of vintage character.

The watch has just been fully serviced by me, including a strip-down and service of the movement, and is now running very well. It is fitted with the well-regarded ETA 2783 automatic movement, a robust and dependable Swiss movement that is also straightforward to service.

The blue dial is particularly nice, with applied hour markers, silver hands and the characteristic red sweep seconds hand. The date is working correctly and the watch is currently keeping good time on the timegrapher.

The case does show honest vintage wear and surface marks from its years of use, as can be seen in the photographs. I have left the case with its original character rather than heavily polishing it. The dial and hands are very attractive for their age, and the overall watch has a great vintage presence on the wrist.

The watch has been serviced specifically so that the next owner can enjoy it rather than having to immediately spend money having the movement attended to.

A really nice example of the classic Edox Delfin range and a great vintage Swiss automatic for someone who appreciates watches with a bit of history and character.
