Favre Leuba Sea Bird

One for the purists!

For sale is this beautiful vintage Favre-Leuba Sea Bird, dating from approximately the 1970s, featuring a striking black dial with vibrant orange accents and a stainless steel case.

A fantastic example of 1970s Swiss watchmaking, with a distinctive design that really stands out. The black dial features an orange minute track, applied silver hour markers and matching hands, giving the watch a fantastic vintage sports-watch aesthetic.

The watch is powered by a Swiss-made mechanical hand-winding movement, which has been freshly serviced and is running very well. The movement is beautifully finished and signed Favre-Leuba. The alarm complication is working as should.

The stainless steel case is in lovely vintage condition, showing some light signs of wear consistent with its age. The watch comes fitted with a favre leuba stainless steel bracelet. Possibby original but not sure.

The caseback features the original Favre-Leuba branding along with the Sea Bird's waterproof, shock-protected and antimagnetic markings.

Favre-Leuba is one of Switzerland's oldest watchmaking names, with a rich history of producing high-quality mechanical watches. These vintage models are becoming increasingly sought after by collectors, particularly examples with distinctive original designs like this one.
