Elgin Natl Watch Co P Watch - Model 1 - 1885c

This is an American Elgin Nat’l Watch Co PW, with an 18Sz, full plate Model 1, Series 1, Grade 81 Movement. The Serial number is 1673309, which dates to 1885c and it has 15 Jewels with a Moseley Regulator.
It is key Wound on the back and key set on the dial. The Balance seems OK, it will rotate but is not ticking and the mainspring seems fully wound.

The Dial is 45 mm in Diameter, is signed Elgin Nat’l Watch Co and has Roman numerals. It is in beautiful condition, with no apparent hairlines as can be seen in the pics and has a sub-secs dial at 6.00.

The Silver case is by Dennison Watch Case Co. It is stamped with the early Sun/Moon Trade Mark and bears the low sn 100. It is 52mm in diameter and is in good condition, with just a few light dings on the back.

There is a Nickle chain attached, which measures 120mm and has a key attached - DW 47

This watch comes directly from a Collection,
which was assembled over the past 50 years and is being sold as described and in the condition as shown in the pics.
