Electronic Watch
Roebuck and Co., which imported high-quality Swiss-made timepieces to sell in their department stores during the mid-20th century.
The "Electronic" Technology: This isn't a modern quartz watch. These 1970s "Electronic" watches use a fascinating transitional technology: they utilize a regular mechanical balance wheel to keep time, but instead of being powered by a wound mainspring, they are powered by an electric battery and electromagnets. When running, the second hand smoothly sweeps like a mechanical watch rather than ticking once per second like a quartz.
38mm excluding crown. Running well.
You could probably call this now "neo-vintage"
An interesting watch.
