Electra Automatic Vintage Chronograph
For sale is a vintage Electra mechanical chronograph, dating to the late 1950s–early 1960s, powered by the well-known Landeron 248 movement.
This watch features a beautifully aged champagne/gilt dial with applied Arabic numerals and markers, twin recessed sub-dials, and classic mid-century proportions. The dial is signed “Electra – Chronographe – Incabloc” and marked “Ancre 17 Rubis – Antimagnetic.”
The watch is housed in a gold-tone case (36mm) with matching crown and pushers, paired with a black leather strap and gold-tone buckle. It wears extremely well and has strong vintage presence.
The movement runs very well and has been tested on a timegrapher (photo included).
⚠️ Important – Chronograph Issue:
The chronograph function does not run continuously. When engaged, it will run for approximately 2 minutes before stopping. Start/reset functions engage and work smoothly with quick reset to 12 position, but the chronograph will require service or repair to function correctly long-term.
As such, this watch is being sold with full disclosure, priced accordingly, and should be considered either a wearable vintage time-only watch, or a service/restoration candidate.
