Chancellor Dublin - Elgin 17J Fob Watch - Fully overhauled in late 2025 - 1906c

This is an Elgin 17J Fob Watch, with movement sn 12023535. It is a size 0, with a Gold train and centre wheel. It is classified as grade 264, dates to 1906c and has Ruby & Sapphire Jewels.

It was fully overhauled in November 2025, so is in superb working condition and keeping almost perfect time.

It has a very nice Dial signed Chancellor, Dublin, which is 30mm in diameter.

The Case is a 25 year grade in 14k Rolled Gold by Keystone Watch Case Co. and bears sn 7253682. It is 35mm in diameter and comes with a Rolled Gold fob chain, measuring 130mm - Ref DW 43

This watch comes directly from a Collection, which was assembled over the past 50 years and is being sold as described and in the condition as shown in the pics.

Chancellor & Sons were in business from 1761 to the 1940s. They are renowned for their production of Turret and Longcase Clocks as well as for Watches,

This watch was sold when John W Chancellor ran the business from the 1890s to 1940s.
