**BARN OWL No.03 – A Little Piece of Watchmaking History**

This watch is part of my own **BARN OWL series**, a collection of individually created, one-off mechanical wristwatches combining elements of traditional watchmaking with carefully selected modern components.

Each watch is assembled individually, with its own character and details. No two are exactly alike.

BARN OWL No.03 brings together a beautiful antique enamel pocket watch dial, approximately 130 years old, with a brand-new mechanical movement, stainless steel case and leather strap.

The original enamel dial has retained its remarkable beauty over the decades. Its elegant black numerals, small seconds display and delicate gold decorations, preserve the character and craftsmanship of another era.

The dial has been given a new identity with the distinctive **BARN OWL No.03** name and owl emblem, featuring two genuine ruby eyes recovered from an old watch.

The same owl emblem, complete with ruby eyes, also appears on the movement itself — a small detail connecting the front and back of the watch.

Inside is a brand-new **Sea-Gull ST3620 hand-wound mechanical movement**, based on the classic ETA / Unitas 6498 architecture housed in a new stainless steel case measuring approximately 44 mm.

The watch is completed with a new brown leather strap with contrasting stitching.

**Condition**

The movement, case and strap are all new.

The antique enamel dial retains the beauty and character of its original period, while the individual components have been carefully adapted and assembled to create a fully functioning mechanical wristwatch.

This is not a restored vintage wristwatch or a factory-produced model. It is an individual creation built around a genuine antique dial.

More than a century separates the making of the dial from the movement that now brings it to life.
