Antique Waltham Pocket Watch
Beautiful antique American Waltham Co. pocket watch in a solid silver case, recently tested and running.
The movement is clean and signed, with attractive damaskeening. The watch winds, sets, and runs. Timegrapher reading shows approximately +34 seconds/day, amplitude around 243°, beat error approx. 1.6 ms (see photos).
Dial in very good condition with light hairlines visible near numerals. Case shows honest wear consistent with age and has some damage where someone tried to open case (its a screw on case). Movement clean with typical minor marks from age. Crystal is brand new.
A lovely, honest example of a late 19th / early 20th century American pocket watch — ideal for collectors or as a gift.
