American - W W Co Springfield Pocket Watch - 1870c

This is an American Pocket Watch, which was made by W.W.Co. Springfield, which is a rare Private Label issue from the New York Watch Co., Springfield.

The stylish, 14K Rolled Gold Hunter Case bears sn 210663 and is in excellent condition. It has an enamel Dial. The spring clicks when winding and slips after 6 winds, but the movement runs very well & keeps time.– Ref DW -26

Springfield was a grade of pocket watch movements manufactured by New York Watch Co., which later became Hampden.

They manufactured watches in Springfield, Massachusetts from approximately 1866 to 1875

This watch comes directly from a Collection, which was assembled over the past 50 years and is being sold as described and in the condition as shown in the pics.
