1960s Tudor Oyster

Offered for sale is a beautiful vintage Tudor Oyster, a classic mid-century piece with outstanding character and originality.

This watch features a warm, evenly aged champagne dial with applied Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9, complemented by elegant gilt dagger indices. The dial shows honest patina consistent with age, giving it tremendous charm without any signs of refinishing. Signed “Tudor Oyster” and “Shock-Resisting.”

The stainless steel Oyster case (34mm)remains in very good vintage condition with clear lines and normal wear for its age. The caseback is correctly signed “Tudor – Geneva Switzerland – Patented – Stainless Steel” with reference and serial numbers present. The original Tudor signed crown is intact.

Inside is a hand-wound Tudor movement with 17 jewels cal 1182, clean and running well. It is performing strongly for a vintage piece (see photos). Movement is signed Tudor and correct for the model.

Fitted with a brown leather strap (not original).
