I am just back from a three month trip where I filmed everyday with this camera. It works very well. A slight scratch on the lens cover which can be replaced but it has no impact on the cameras image.
The microphone is great as it allows for better quality recording even in windy conditions. Also the camera and subject do not need to be next to each other.
