@TP2675 Looking to giveaway the lot.

Yeah I guess less Cork people have VHS players 😂. I'd be happy to take a few if you're happy to part with them.

@TP2675 Hi, all available. Surprised they haven't gone to be honest. If I was in Dublin they'd have gone on the first day.

Hi, I'm not sure from the wording in your ad but are you giving away a VCR too? Also, are all the other cassettes you have, kids movies too? Would you possibly be able to put up pics of the rest of the video cassettes you're giving away?

@Simon1991 Hi, it's a big bag, decent weight, probably wouldn't be worth posting.

Yeah I know what you mean, I collect ps1 games and used to always have alot of joy picking them up for cheap down the years, impossible now. For some reason I've gotten a fascination for VHS that I never had before, I just think they're beautiful, look good on a shelf too. I know once I start with them I'll be on the lookout for them constantly unfortunately 😂 Gave them all away years ago like everyone else did when the dvds came out and regret it massively now.

You're wasting your time with Charity shops in general these days unfortunately. People will give out to me for saying that as it sounds like I'm anti-charity shops which I'm not, shopped in them for years. The American style side hustle/flippers have all but ruined the second hand market here both in charity shops and other second hand places since Covid. Cash connectors use to be decent as well but those places are just physical ebay shops now, items on ebay were always overly expensive both new or used. I much rather see either free or low cost items be used than bought up by flippers who leave them sit in their gafs while inlation eats into their potential tiny profits. It's much harder finding things these days, it's almost a full time job keeping an eye out for things you're looking for at a reasonable price. I use to collect vinyl a few years before that industry was ruined by the insane price increases so I'm used to the "digging" but I'd imagine it's very off putting for anyone now genuinely trying to start collecting or using things that really aren't made any more.

It's a great idea, I've looked around in charity shops and the like but can never seem to find any. Where in gods name do you find them 😂 Besides here obviously.

@Rovert021 Yeah I did the same, small collection of my favourites and kids ones, making sure the lads know the physical stuff as they grow up. Done the same with music (cds, tapes, vinyl) and musical instruments.
