Fully restored vintage porsche 944 automatic , Nct exempt !
98000 miles.
Since my ownership in 2015 its got -
Full professional respray with doors and wings removed, and sills repaired.
Electric Windows and mirrors work.
New brake lines, brake fluid, refurbished calipers all around. New front shocks, new wheel bearings. New windshield . Radiator removed and system flushed/ cleaned. Carburetor cleaned.
New battery, coilpack , plugs , oil & air filter, several seals replaced and now zero oil leakage ( rare!!).
automatic gearbox replaced and dampener replacement.
Too many electrical repairs to mention, car was a non starter for almost 2 years 😨. But starts on the button now every time 🤗.
Timing belts and water pump done 1000 miles ago only , but probably due again as it was 5 years ago.
New rear springs.
Dash and full interior basically refurbished,some extra sound proofing done also.
roof liner not great but i have to draw the line somewhere! Also slight leak at sunroof which i hope to repair if I get time, or might need new sunroof seal.
I and other mechanics/ enthusiasts have spent hundreds of hours getting her right
I must have up to a hundred photots of the restoration and receipts that i will attempt to put on a file to send via email if interested.
Car has been stored in a extremely dry wooden shed since 2015, as its ive only done about 2000 miles in my time.
Black leather turbo seats , ive never sat in more comfortable seats! New speakers x 4.
Radio is unreliable, but think its a matter of changing the cassette player.
Steering shaft was repaired also for nct , steers beautiful, non power steering, so no headaches!
I have original teledial wheels also fully refurbished if u prefer them with new tyres. Hundreds of hours put into this and too many parts to mention. Only reason im selling is ive an s2 on the line.
