Mk1 VW Jetta
I've owned this Jetta over 10 years now and it's been in my family since the early 90s. Read the spec and decide if it's the car for you.
Engine: 1.9TDI, 12mm injector pump, bigger Gibonta injector nozzles, ARL-spec turbo, brand new, 10 miles on it. Front mount intercooler, G60 flywheel, VR6 clutch.
Gearbox: 02A 5-speed manual, 02J shifter tower. Hydraulic clutch setup, shifter cables and lever assembly from Polo GTI. 100mm driveshafts.
Brakes: mk1 GTI standard front disks, mk2 GTI rear disks, mk4 calipers
Suspension: Eibach -40mm springs, new gas shocks, rear strut brace. Factory rear ARB, front ARB to go with the car but not fitted.
Styling: NOS Kamei front spoiler, rear spoiler, bonnet scoop. NOS Zender side skirts. Jetta GLi wheel arch extensions, Repop Kamei Windsplits on bonnet. Rare genuine VW rear number plate recess infill trim. Mk1 GTI windscreen trims.
Body: fully restored with no rust: new sills, new front panel, new spare wheel well. Still in 90% factory paint. It's original and hides nothing and has bags of patina. If you're a shiny car person, it'll need to be painted. Engine bay and front panel fully repainted last year. NOS Hella headlamps, good original tail lamps. If you know Jettas, you know good tail lamps and RHD front lamps are crazy rare.
Interior: Series 1 mk1 GTI steering wheel. GTI centre console with super rare "Jetta" script blanking plate. Seats are original blue tweed in OK condition. Mk1 Scirocco seats included in sale but will need retrimming if they are to be used.
Wheels: brand new Ronal LS mesh wheels with 195/50R15 Kumho Ecsta tyres. All only 10 miles on them.
Needed: will need a map session to get the most from the engine upgrades. Easy 200BHP with the mods done. Needs an alternator, current one not charging.
