BMW Cabriolet Classic E30. 1992. Fully Restored.

Six month restoration just completed in July with a lot of time and money invested in getting her to this fantastic condition. Thousands spent.

This is a BMW 318i 1992 Cabriolet in Laguna Green (Very rare), BMW factory build, not a Baur or aftermarket conversion. Automatic gearbox. Rear Wheel Drive.

It started out life in the UK and was brought to a Ireland in the 90’s. The last owner had it 4 years and I have it since December 2020.
Only 105k miles with Buckets of service history, NCT certs & invoices.
Full BMW service pack with lots of stamps, booklets, previous motor tax receipts, radio book etc. Car was resprayed last year. No rust anywhere.
It has a manual roof that was also replaced last year with all new clips etc.
All electric windows that work perfect.
Power steering.
Sports seats in gorgeous contrasting beige check pattern.
All lights and gauges on the dash clock pinnacle working perfect (rare)

Just had done:
a) A full service, with anything mechanical needed replaced. (June 2021)
b) New timing belt, fan belt, pulleys and water pump installed. (June 2021)
c) Gearbox refurbished and new clutch plates and valve body installed with new fluids and gaskets. (June 2021)
d) New radiator, pipes & heater matrix this week. (July 2021)
e) New battery just installed still under warranty, along with lots of electrical gremlins fixed, including new door stop light switches so no parasitic draws (common on e30’s). (June 2021)
f) Most trims, bumpers, spoilers finished, painted and detailed. (June 2021)
g) New German number plate surrounds. (July 2021)
f) It has a current NCT that was only passed a few hundred miles ago, just before its restoration, and not due again until November 18th. This car will be vintage next year so only €56 road tax.
g) It has just been fully valeted, and anything repaired that was needed like the upholstery on seats that had slight wear - all replaced. (June 2021)
h) New remote control central locking system & actuators just installed with 2 keyfobs/keys. (C/L in a e30 convertible that works is very rare). (June 2021)
i) New fuel pump installed this week. (July 2021)

It has the original Memphis BMW radio cassette still installed. (authentic/period, but not great by todays standards. I would change it for a louder Bluetooth one if I was keeping it).

The interior is immaculate and literally like new.
Full set of matts to protect the carpets that are still immaculate as is the boot, which still has its full toolkit.
Tyres, suspension, exhaust and OEM BBS 15" alloys are all perfect.
Engine bay is spotless. No oil anywhere or any leaks of any fluids.
It is insured on a classic policy costing me only €150 a year.
Non juicy four cylinder 1.8 engine, so cheap and easy to run. This starts first time, every time and drives like a new car now.
This is a car for showing off, and for car shows. It literally stops people in their tracks when it is being driven top down.

I am very reluctantly putting this on the market, alongside my Volvo 740 classic (Now sold) , as I need to make room for my next project,
I am a classic car collector and enthusiast, enjoying them as much as I can (I have an e34 too).
The e30 is now an appreciating classic car shape, and is tipped to be an icon. I wish I could keep it, but space is limited as are resources. I will keep it unless I get what I am looking for.
This one has just had a fortune spent on it so you don't have to, if you fancy investing. These will only keep going up in value due to their timeless design, bulletproof reliability, and technical simplicity.

This car in this condition would sell in the UK for £13000 to £14000 now. (and I may still do that once restrictions are fully lifted)

Happy to consider a trade in of a decent campervan, or a high roof minibus, with cash my way. I may also consider a trade in of another classic if it makes it easier on somebody to do a deal, but one that I can flip with little or no work needed please. No I wont take 5 grand for it. A lot more than that has been spent just on refurbishing it in the last few months. Its reduced to €11000 to sell - No test pilots or time wasters please. Invest now as these in this condition are only going one way.

@nicbra: Thanks a mill. It is 100%. My mechanic said it was the best he had seen in ages. Floor and both sill are100% solid no damage no repairs and none needed. She is a minter. I wish I could keep her, but no space means she needs to go, and hopefully to somebody who can keep her inside for the winter.

Its just simply too low after all I have put into it this amazing car.....even this week I have put a total new radiator as it was a better fit........took 8 weeks to get the right one from Germany.
