Alfa Romeo 166

A one owner Alfa Romeo 166 with the 2.5 v6 petrol engine. Low km and a real bit of history.
This Alfa has been garaged for nearly 4yrs and has been a work in progress and I haven't got the time to finish it.

Work completed.
New front windscreen and sealant.
New Gearbox ecu
Timing chain kit complete installed inc tension fittings.

New Alfa romeo stainless steel exhaust from Italian Alfa racing exhaust systems.

Engine running like a dream
Fully valeted
Pepperpot alloys fully restored x 5 and new tyres on all.
All electrics are working

The bad
The car has still got a gearbox fault so it drives but gets stuck in auto 3rd position, 2 and 1st plus reverse are selectable but normal driving is restricted to 3rd gear. We are almost certain its a relay issue or similar electrical fault.

Some bushes have been replaced but could do with an inspection on whats next.

Some age related marks on the bodywork.

Thats it! A beautiful car for someone to bring to life, as I say I'm sorry to see it go as its such a genuine car and I desperately wanted to run this machine, however its time for someone else to finish it with a bit more time than I.
