Phil & Teds Sport double buggy with carrycot

The Phil and Teds Sport is a classic, heavy-duty 3-wheel all-terrain inline stroller. It is highly regarded for its robust engineering, excellent "kerb pop" maneuverability, and ability to expand into a compact double stroller using a secondary Double Kit. This model also features a rigid, hard-shelled ‘Peanut’ Carrycot, allowing you to carry a newborn fully flat.

In good used condition, with fading to hood as visible in pics. Some signs of use (scuff marks pictured). Plenty of life left in this fantastic, strong, sturdy buggy.

The Sport accommodates a newborn up to a toddler, expandable to two or even three children with extra accessory seats.

Key Features & Specifications:

* All-Terrain Wheels: Equipped with three 12-inch pneumatic (air-filled) tires paired with a swiveling front wheel that can lock straight for rougher terrain like gravel, mud, or grass. Ideal for rough terrain and light jogging. 3 spare tubes and a spare wheel are included in the sale! Wheels are removable when transporting.
* Braking System: Features a reliable foot-pedal parking brake located centrally between the rear wheels (unlike the newer models which transitioned to a handle-bar auto-stop brake).
* Sling Seat Design: Built with a resilient fabric sling seat that lowers directly into the frame. It unzips and unbuckles to offer 4 recline positions, ranging from an upright toddler seat to a fully flat lie-flat position suitable for a newborn.
* Safety: Outfitted with an adjustable 5-point safety harness and a removable front bumper bar. Also features a strap so you never lose control of the buggy.
* Storage & Accessories: Includes a massive under-seat gear tray that holds up to 10kg and a canvas sunhood featuring an embroidered "sport" tag on the side. Also features special bag that can be velcrod onto the handlebar allowing you to carry essentials.
* Integrated plastic frame lock. When you fold the stroller, the frame automatically clicks and locks into place.
* Rain covers: for main double buggy and separate one for the Peanut carrycot. Both in superb condition and really good for protecting your little ones.

Single-to-Double Modality
The core appeal of the Sport is its inline adaptation:
1. With One Child: The main seat acts as a standard single stroller.
2. With a Newborn & Toddler: The main sling seat reclines fully flat for the infant, while the Double Kit seat clips onto the top/front adapters over the bumper bar for the older toddler. The Peanut allows you to carry a newborn in a really comfy cot. Ours was only used a few times as we bought it when baby was older.
3. With Two Toddlers: The older child sits upfront in the main seat, and the Double Kit seat clicks into the rear frame anchor posts, positioning the second child lower down inside the basket space. This is the most popular position and great fun for the 2 kids and mum or dad pushing them!
