I no longer have a maxi cosi seat to try that out but from what I remember I think you can. There are loads of different configurations you can use for the seats in general.

@susanosullivan21: Apologies for delayed response.. yes you can fit a maxi cosi car seat on this buggy with the adapters shown in one of the pictures. We used it like that regularly.
