@mr.barcoe: I never even used it once for a TV signal. I only ever used it to connect to a Nintendo GameCube console. I don't think RTE will work properly with a small aerial because it is not a Saorview TV. But if you have a dedicated Saorview box, then the Saorview box will connect to the TV's HDMI port, and then RTE will work perfectly. Also, if you have a SkyHD box - that will also connect perfectly to the HDMI connector on the TV and all the channels that you subscribe to will work perfectly.

Ok what I really want to know does RTE work on it with a small aerial plug in behind it because if a television is a certain age maybe RTE won’t work without a separate saorview box Did you try working Irish channels on it with free view with aerial
