Replace your capacitors on your Technics 1200/1210 main board pcb

suitable for all boards from MK2* up to MK5g

The kit contains all 21 electrolytic capacitors located on the main board.

All the capacitors meet or exceed oem specifications, comprising of high-grade capacitors from the likes of Panasonic, Nichicon, Rubicon etc, they are not cheap Chinese ‘general use capacitors’ that often fail prematurely

The upgraded capacitors have a lifespan of 4000 hours or more.

The highest tolerances have been sourced on these caps to allow for heat and longevity

All components are individually bagged and labeled with their circuit reference numbers

*The older MK2 have a slightly different shape C1 cap, please check which one you have before ordering, ie New style board 1 (radial cap) or old style board 2 (axial cap).

Why Replace My Technics 1200 MK2 Turntable Capacitors?
Faulty capacitors can damage ICs, processor chips, and cause irreversible damage to pcbs, the average lifespan for conventional capacitors is roughly 1 year of constant play time.

On average you will have your turntables are on for about 83% of capacitor lifespan during a full year. Now, this varies and this is more of a preventative maintenance for Technics SL turntables.

Soldering skill and basic electronic knowledge is required to fit this kit
I recommend leaded solder, do not use ‘lead free’ as it tends to crack and fail over time.
