A rare vintage Telephoto Monocular, precision made in Japan.
This clever optical instrument doubles as both a monocular and a camera telephoto attachment.
The top cover is marked "Weimar TO 74" within a lens logo.
Below is engraved "7x40 9.5° No. 64538".
The lens ring is inscribed "Weimar Tele-Mono Tsuchiba Kogaku - Made in Japan"
Superb condition, and still with its original padded case, with logo on the front, and even its original cleaning cloth.
