Final Price Drop: €2,500. I’ve priced this well below market value to find a serious buyer. Please note, at this heavily discounted price, the figure is firm.

@Lynnie39: I’m confident the microscope is in excellent condition and fully ready for use, but to make things completely hassle-free, I’m happy to cover any minor servicing or maintenance if you feel it’s necessary. You’re also very welcome to inspect and test it thoroughly upon arrival.

This is a ready-to-use, clinic-grade microscope that can immediately support your work, and I’d really like for it to go to a clinic where it will be actively used. I’m confident it will deliver reliable performance for many years, giving you excellent value.

Looking forward to your thoughts!

Hi Jake … thanks for that info. I’ll show it to the husband. We have a clinic where we need a good microscope from time to time . I’ll see what he says this evening and get back to you.

@Lynnie39: Hi. There’s no service report available for the microscope.

That said, I’m a long-time microscope enthusiast and hobbyist with extensive hands-on experience maintaining and using optical equipment. This microscope has always been carefully handled, properly stored, and regularly checked to ensure optimal performance.

Mechanically, all controls operate smoothly, including focus movement and stage operation. Optically, the system is clean and clear, with no issues affecting image quality. The optics show excellent contrast, sharpness, and proper alignment, and the illumination is even across the field.

To demonstrate the optical performance, I’ve included sample photos taken directly through the microscope using prepared slides, including: privet leaf cross-section, sunflower root cross-section, tulip ovary section, bread mold with mycelium and spores, and filamentous green freshwater algae. These images reflect the current condition of the optics, with no haze, fungus, or noticeable defects.

I also took high-resolution photos of these samples, which you can view here: https://imgur.com/a/StQzSfS

Please feel free to get in touch if you’d like any additional details or specific checks performed.

Cheers,
Jake

Hi is there a service report ?

Update: To demonstrate the condition of the optics, I’ve included sample photos taken through this microscope using prepared slides (privet leaf cross-section, sunflower root cross-section, tulip ovary section, bread mold with mycelium and spores, and filamentous green freshwater algae).

These images were captured through the supplied objective lenses without digital enhancement and are intended to demonstrate resolution, contrast, and overall image quality. The absence of haze, scratches, delamination, or optical artifacts confirms that the objectives are in brand-new condition, exactly as described.

You'll also find a link in the description to the high-resolution photos.

Cheers,
Jake
