I wasn’t using it as a dimmable lamp, so I replaced the bulb with a normal, non-dimmable one. It turns out it can still be dimmed to some extent, but that’s not its intended use, so you’d get better results if you replace it with a proper dimmable bulb if that’s how you plan to use it.
