1973 Ireland Long Island Local Carriage Service Ltd First Day Cover (FDC)
In 1973 a locally owned carriage service was started to convey mail from Long Island off the coast of West Cork to the post office in Schull. The service was initially approved by the Dept. of Post and Telegraphs but this approval was withdrawn after a short period.
Happy to post at cost.
