1945 1970 Germany mint & used Berlin OP

A vintage German stamp collection featuring used and unused mint examples from two interesting periods of history. The group includes post-war AM Post Germany Allied Occupation stamps, along with a 1970 DDR Famous People set showing figures such as Einstein, Gutenberg, Tucholsky, Beethoven, Hölderlin and Hegel. A nice historical mix connecting post-war Germany with later East German cultural commemoration issues.
