Classic P-87 throw off and synthetic gut (nylon) snares in fantastic condition.

Drum gear stored in a studio in Wexford. Available to meet in Dublin Monday - Thursday

If you want a fat snare sound put another drum head on the snare or a cut out old head . A dual thickness head is better. And tape it down .

@ronniemorganmusic i think that this snare does that thing and it work for live music but it is finicky due of the gut style snares and thicker shell - its main thing is that tight crisp tone. I would tend to use other snares for that dead 70s sound, especially when recorded.

To be totally honest if you want that dead and phat tone, I think you might be better off with something with regular snares and a thinner shell

Really ok great I want it for the studio to get a fat snare sound does it sound good low would like to hear a small sample of it before I buy or if I’m in Dublin will definitely call over
