This is the same model associated with Stewart Copeland — the COB Pearl snare he used during his time with The Police, known for its bright, cutting tone and articulation.
The drum has a die-cast batter hoop fitted, which adds extra focus, rimshot crack, and tuning stability.
Great sounding brass snare. Works for rock, funk, and anything that needs projection and bite.
