DW Collectors Series snare drum (signed by John Good - 38/44)

Stunning DW Collector’s Series exotic snare drum in natural lacquer over highly figured Olive Ash Burl veneer. 14” x 5” in size. Unbelievably versatile - works well for jazz, studio work or live gigs.

Only 44 of these ever made. This is signed by John Good himself and has “38/44” on the inside with John Good’s signature.


This is a proper collector’s piece:
- Hand-selected exotic burl wood with beautiful grain and figuring (one of the nicest I’ve seen)
- Signed on the inside by John Good (DW’s legendary “Wood Whisperer”)
- Marked 38/44 – meaning it’s from a very small limited run of just 44 drums made from this special batch of veneer

Specs:
- 14” diameter with chrome hardware, True-Hoops style, MAG throw-off
- Remo Controlled Sound coated batter head (with Puresound-style snare wires)
- Sounds fat, warm and punchy – perfect for studio, gigs or as a showpiece

Condition: Excellent used condition. Chrome is shiny, shell looks great with only light natural wear. No major dings or issues.

This isn’t a standard production snare – the limited numbering + John Good signature makes it rare and desirable among DW collectors.
